In our last episode, we discussed “Securing the Bag”. Now this week, we’ll be discussing “Securing the Degree”! I had the pleasure of collaborating with Dr. Pamela Harris and Dr. Aris Winger, the cohosts of Mathematically Uncensored Podcast.

Dr. Pamela E. Harris is a Mexican-American Mathematician and Associate Professor of Mathematics at Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts. She received her B.S. from Marquette University, and M.S. and Ph.D. in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Dr. Aris Winger is an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Georgia Gwinnett College in Lawrenceville, Georgia. He received his B.S. in Mathematics from Howard University, and M.S. and Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences from Carnegie Mellon University. Recently, Dr. Winger and Dr. Harris have coauthored the book “Asked And Answered: Dialogues On Advocating For Students of Color in Mathematics”.
